I believe that the reason Belarus loves Russia so much is because she admires him for being on his own for so long. She wants to be with him and marry him so that he won't have to be alone again. She thinks that if he chooses another girl then she will leave Russia. So she wants to be the one to love Russia. Because she won't leave him.
